F16 crashed by the March Reserve AFB runway

Thats where I used to work for almost a year. It is in Moreno Valley, California by 215 freeway. My office was very close to the runway and AFB fence. I saw F16s taking off and land every hour. Quite an pilot friendly birds. There were mostly C17 transports and KC135 air refuelers stationed in that reserve AFB base, over 10 of those each. There were always (2) F16s standby in open hanger very close to the runway for quick action

An Air Force F-16 fighter jet crashed into the side of a commercial building in California Thursday, authorities said.
No one was injured when the plane from the March Air Reserve Base slammed into the warehouse off-base in Riverside, said Timothy Holliday, the deputy fire chief at the Air Force Civilian Service.
The pilot, believed to be the only person aboard, safely ejected from the plane while still on the base, he added.
Photos from local TV news stations showed a massive hole in the roof of the structure and sprinklers on inside the building.
The jet’s cockpit canopy could be seen on a runway and the parachute was spotted on a nearby field.
The F-16 was assigned to the Air National Guard, a federal military reserve force under the Air Force, officials said.
The base is home to the Air Force Reserve Command’s Fourth Air Force Headquarters and various units of the Army Reserve, Navy Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve, California Air National Guard and California Army National Guard.
