Memorial Day for all of us



On the night of July 18th, 1947 at National Broadcasting Station, legendary writer Mg Htin, Director U Khin Zaw and Minister for Information Dee Doke U Ba Cho were chit chatting about Bogyoke often working alone in his office with no protection, 200 'bren'guns missing from military depot, etc. Then, Dee Doke U Ba Cho suddenly said "we plan to tighten up security at Secretariat starting tomorrow". At 11am next day the July 19th, 1947 when Sayargyi Mg Htin woke up and heard the tragic news, Minister Dee Doke U Ba Cho was among the dead ~ Myanmar Lliterature Icon & Professor Dr Khin Aye
