Yangon (when it was founded 264 years ago)
When Yangon was founded on May 2, 1755 (264 years ago) by Myanmar King AlaungPhaya (1714-1760), it started out with tiny human community. King instructed to build new city within (7) days. The Yangon Naypyitaw was enclosed and fenced up all (4) sides with big wooden logs. To the east of Yangon, it is now called TheinPhyu Road, To the west, It is now called Bo Soon Pat Road, To the south it was Hlaing River, to the north it was Sule Pagoda, town then was that small.
