Twentynine Palms (also known as 29 Palms) is a city in San Bernardino County, California. One of poorest county in California and in US, nothing much there, just the desert features such as hot burning sands and palm trees 30 some years ago, the outdoor temperatures may be well over 120F/50C in summer time. These days, the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms is located there. There is one Sayargyi Goenka's Int'l Meditation Center at 29palms now. The place is flourished rapidly in recent years mainly due to military presence
