Abe is no stranger to Japan's political arena
Abe came from a prominent political family. His grandfather Kishi Nobusuke served as Japan’s prime minister from 1957 to 1960, and his great-uncle Sato Eisaku held the same post from 1964 to 1972. His father, Abe Shintaro, who was Japan’s foreign minister in 1980s. He is the 2nd son of Sintaro Abe. After graduating from Seikei University in Tokyo (1977), Abe moved to the United States, where he studied political science at the USC, Los Angeles, California
